AEA / SAG-Eligible
NYC-Based Actor
Meet Cait!
Cait Deerin is an AEA/SAG-E actress based in NYC with local housing in DC, Baltimore, and Richmond. Originally from the DC-Baltimore area, Cait earned her Equity card as Annie at the Olney Theater Center and worked at notable venues like Ford’s Theater and the Kennedy Center. She considers these early roles her “textbooks,” having to learn outside the classroom between shows.
Cait double-majored in Mathematics and Theater at Dartmouth College while working on projects such as The Naked Librarian (with Steve Routman and Emmy award-winner Gordon Clapp) and It’s a Wonderful Life: A Radio Play at Northern Stage. She is currently taking classes part-time at the Stella Adler Studio.
After teaching seventh-grade math in the South Bronx for two years, Cait has returned to theater full time. An award-winning AmeriCorps member and former researcher in mathematics and neuroscience, Cait has a passion for math and mentorship off the stage or set.
