About Cait

Cait is a middle child and a Leo, and was born on Friday the 13th. That says a lot right there, but if you want to know more, keep reading.

Cait was raised in Olney, MD, earning her Equity card at the historic Olney Theatre Center — conveniently just down the road — as Annie (Annie). (Twelve years later, Cait lives just two blocks from her “Daddy Warbucks,” Broadway veteran George Dvorsky, in New York City.)

In those 12 years between, Cait would perform at notable venues such as Ford’s Theater and the Kennedy Center, all while nerding out in school and earning admission to Dartmouth College. After a gap year spent doing award-winning AmeriCorps work, earning the Wilmer Hale Civic Innovation Award for her implementation of Rubik’s Cubes in middle school math intervention, Cait double-majored in Mathematics (yep) and Theater at Dartmouth. During her time at Dartmouth, Cait worked on projects at regional theaters like Northern Stage, with actors like Emmy Award-winning Gordon Clapp.

After two years in the classroom as a 7th-grade math teacher in the South Bronx, Cait finally made the bittersweet decision to return to acting full-time. Still, her passion for education is evident in her experience as an alumni interviewer for prospective Dartmouth students, a research assistant at Dartmouth's Reading Brains Lab, and a data analytics fellow in the U.S. Department of Education. Cait continues her work on the side as the Founder and CEO of Manhattan Math and Study Skills, LLC, a private tutoring company specializing in advanced math tutoring and executive function coaching.

In her free time, Cait is usually watching true crime, playing piano or guitar, drawing or painting, studying part-time at the Stella Adler Studio, or bothering her cat, Russell.
